VACUUM TUBE SOLAR COLLECTOR 'HEAT-PIPE'

SolarZem presents its thermal vacuum tube solar collector, able to heat water up to high temperatures thanks to the innovative HEAT-PIPE system.

As the name says, the HEAT-PIPE uses a sealed heat pipe containing a non-toxic liquid that vaporises when heating up. The steam goes up to a bolster where the heat is transferred to the water that circulates around. When the steam gets cold, due to passing through cold water, it condenses and drops again as a liquid. Then the same process starts again, simulating the natural cycle of rain.
